The Abyssal Rider’s heir descends! 5-star Ice element character Silcock makes a stunning debut in Genshin Impact Version 5.7.

In this land shrouded in ice and snow, a legend is quietly emerging. She is the successor of the Cryo Archon, and her name is called Shikoku. In the upcoming Genshin Impact version 5.7, this five-star Cryo character will ignite the passion of every player who loves this icy world with her unique charm.
Shikoku’s story originates from an ancient legend. On that snow-covered land, she is the successor of the Cryo Archon, possessing extraordinary Cryo abilities and a unique combat style. Her sword techniques are as elegant as flowing water, and every swing of her sword seems to perform a symphony of ice and snow. Her signature weapon is called “Sōyō,” a single-handed sword radiating mysterious light. It is said that this sword has cut through countless darkness and witnessed numerous life-and-death moments. Ancient runes carved on the blade seem to tell an ancient story.
The base attack of “Sōyō” reaches 608, with each strike as sharp as biting cold. Its special effect, “Gift of Hakushin,” makes this sword even more distinctive. After Shikoku casts her Elemental Skill, her attack is increased by 24% for 12 seconds. If her Elemental Energy is 0 at that time, the attack is further increased by 24%, and Critical Damage is boosted by 40%. This makes Shikoku more explosive and durable in combat.
Shikoku’s Normal Attacks flow like water, each strike filled with power and elegance. She can perform up to five consecutive attacks, each as sharp as ice. Her Charged Attack is even more overwhelming, hurling a spinning ice spear at enemies in front, dealing devastating damage. Her Plunge Attack descends like hail, striking enemies in the path and causing AoE damage upon landing.
Shikoku’s Elemental Skill, “Cryo Archon’s Technique: Flash,” is the core of her combat style. It mimics the Cryo Archon’s fighting method, with different effects for tap and hold. Tapping grants Shikoku 45 points of Serpent’s Cunning and switches her to the Shichirin no Kiri mode. Holding it also grants 45 points of Serpent’s Cunning and allows her to move quickly with increased interruption resistance. Shikoku can control the direction of her movement and end the quick movement early by recasting the skill.
Shikoku’s Elemental Burst, “Cryo Archon’s Technique: Extinguish,” does not rely on Elemental Energy but on Serpent’s Cunning. When she has at least 50 points of Serpent’s Cunning, she can consume all of it to cast her Elemental Burst, tearing through space and performing rapid slashes, dealing Cryo AoE damage. During the cast, each additional point of Serpent’s Cunning beyond 50 increases the damage of this Elemental Burst, with a maximum of 12 additional points.
In the Shichirin no Kiri mode, the Elemental Burst “Cryo Archon’s Technique: Extinguish” is replaced by “Cryo Archon’s Technique: Consummate.” This special Elemental Burst can be cast without consuming Serpent’s Cunning. After casting, Shikoku gains the effect of Chokufun, which lasts until the Shichirin no Kiri mode ends. If the inherent talent “Ri no Ri” is unlocked, the Chokufun effect will be further enhanced.
Shikoku’s combat style is not only about the power of Cryo but also incorporates the unique techniques of the Cryo Archon. Every move she makes is filled with elegance and strength, as if performing a symphony of ice and snow. Her sword techniques flow like water, each swing filled with power and beauty.
